MEDCOM's Instrument Ready PC's are certified and are complete with the required communication ports to provide quick and easy connection to a wide variety of clinical instruments. MEDCOM's expertise in instrument interfacing and the processing of medical information with integrated database software brings to the physician and clinical laboratories PCs that are engineered to provide the greatest reliability possible. MEDCOM burns-in the systems before they are shipped to eliminate delays during installation in the lab. The Instrument ReadyPC is a computer system that includes MEDCOM's proprietary Translator III interface engine to provide the user a cost effective alternative to expensive and complicated instrument interfacing. With the Instrument Ready PC, analytical instruments (chemistry, hematology, immunology, etc), are connected to the system via the RS232 communication ports. Other computers may also be connected to the Instrument Ready PC, directly, or as part of a network interface to billing and medical records systems.
